Google Maps now showing ADs on the iPhone

Currently this can get a little complicated here with Google monetizing the 50 million touch devices that Apple has sold by viewing up sponsored listings on its MAPS application that is bundled  in the iPhone / iPod touch. Not sure if there is any returns share, but the situation is certainly fascinating.

Almost all Google hand-outs were initially being customized for the iPhone / iPod touch and then came the machine and the Chrome OS declaration. It is also rumored that Apple might get its own MAPS app on the iPhone replacing the default Google Maps offering.
